Experienced coaches and trainers will be the key to a sustainable way of getting athletes on the best possible level and keeping the passion for sport alive.
The professional sports industry has changed massively in the past and will continue to undergo constant development in the future. Nevertheless, there are some invariants, such as the competition between athletes at the highest international level. Perfectly trained coaches are needed to ensure at least the same quality of performance in the future. Maintaining this quality will ensure that the growing interest in sport and the increasing commitment of players in the industry continues.”
HiPer is a unique and ambitious program for coaches in top level sports.
It is characterised by:
- its innovative, multidisciplinary approach in combination to practical exercises in a scientific framework
- its focus on future training challenges of clubs and federations
- qualified lectures from experts in the different fields
- its strong network of like-minded sports experts
- its global perspective and strong alliance between sports experts and academia
- Internships in a professional occupational field
It comprises:
ceremony, to be completed between 18-36 months
Who is HiPer designed for?
- either are currently working or have been working on high-performance level
- or finished their Bachelor’s Degree in sports and have one year of working experience
- or have a professional qualification with at least 3 years of professional experience in high- performance sport and a national association coaching licence and active athletes, mentors and managers in the field of high-performance sport like:
- sports directors
- competitive sports staff at Olympic training or federal performance centers
- NOCs or continental or international federations
- personal coaches, trainers/consultants in the areas of coaching and leadership
- researcher in all areas of high-performance sport
*Please note that the tuition fees do not include travel and accommodation expenses.
The payment is not due all at once, but is due in installments over the course of your studies until the beginning of the 3rd semester.
